I was trying to come up with a blog url and, after becoming frustrated that all the ones I wanted were unavailable, I typed in 'mauraleonard' because surely that wouldn't be taken...and it was. I was kind of pissed, like how dare there be another Maura Leonard that wants to blog. So i typed mauraleonard.blogspot.com just to scope this idiot out. I came across a completely blank blog that simply said "maura" in the header. There were no posts, which was really annoying because if this other Maura Leonard was going to take my url name, they better at least use it. It was then that I glanced at the blogs that this person followed: broughtonchalkcircle and broughtonverse... Oh...I had stumbled upon a blog I was forced to create for my drama class during my junior year of high school. Awkward...
So I figured out the login and here we are. I can't let it go to waste now, can I? I really don't know what I plan on writing on here, or if I want this to be a themed blog or something. Like all the photography or style blogs I read. Except I don't take a lot of pictures (yet) and my style is "out-of-shape college student chic," so not really that cute.
I'm kind of nervous to blog again. I had a livejournal when I was in high school, and I recently went back and read it again and it was so cringe-worthy. Basically the definition of overshare and I don't want to make that same mistake again.
Maybe I'll just post some pictures for now...
